Prophecy Girl by Cecily WhiteReview Policy
Dear Authors & Publishers,
Thank you for considering my book blog, Tea, Daydreams & Fairytales as an avenue for review and promotion of your book.
I am currently accepting material for review purposes but before contacting me I would appreciate if you could take the time to read my review policy and ensure your book is mutually suitable.
Reviews
All reviews written on this blog are subjective and solely based on my thoughts and opinions after reading the book. I will be honest, meaning I will point out what I like and what I didn’t like when reading the story. Any negative commentary I will endevour to explain and be professional about – I don’t believe in being critical without explanation.
All reviews will be given a rating and published on this blog, Goodreads and Amazon.com. I am open to publishing my reviews elsewhere if requested however please make this clear in your initial request to me.
Novels & Genres Accepted
Tea, Daydreams & Fairytales is predominantly a Young Adult Book Blog, however I am open to Adult literature providing it fits into my preferred Genres:
- Paranormal/Paranormal Romance
- Dystopian
- Fantasy
- Mysteries/Thrillers
I will also consider if the book grabs my attention:
- Contemporary fiction
- Historical fiction
I am in no way interested in Christian literature, non-fiction or erotica so please do not bother contacting me regarding these genres.
If the novel is part of a series of books, I will generally only accept them if I have already read the previous novels. If I have not read the predecessors, I request that the original books also be provided so I can acclimatise myself into the story and characters properly to provide a worthy review.
Book Formats

I believe in doing my part for the environment and wherever possible prefer books in e-book format for review. I will accept Kindle or ePub formats of e-books that can be read either on my Kindle device or through my iPhone/iPad using the application – Stanza.
I will accept Hardback and Paperback copies as well if there is no e-book option available. After reading traditional books, the majority of these will either be given away in contests via this blog, or be donated to a local Australian charity – Lifeline to sell in their bi-annual Bookfest to raise money.
Disclaimer
Accepting a novel for review does not guarantee that I will read or review the book. Reading is first and foremost a hobby, albeit a serious one of mine and I will not always have a chance to read as much as I would like.
I will attempt to publish a review in a timely manner after reading the material while the content is still fresh in my mind. With unreleased novels, I will whenever possible publish the review in the month leading up to the book’s launch.
Are you still interested in having me review your literature?
